The Tama BSBD04T 36" x22" Field Bass Drum, is large and powerful with clearly defined low-end fundamentals, Tama's field bass drum delivers a solid tonal foundation to every performance. The 36"x22" 9mm Maple shell generates superior resonance, along with a wealth of authoritative low-frequency response. Maple delivers a deep and warm timbre with excellent bass response. The Remo Fiberskyn Head nicely accents the natural sonic character of the drum with added warmth and roundness. Twelve high-quality lugs securing two carefully-crafted Maple hoops ensure precise tuning and stability. The Tilt Release Handle offers a smooth release of the Bass Drum's pivot point, allowing for quick and easy positioning for an ideal attack angle. The Bass Drum is suspended in a nylon webbing rather than anchored to a single location. This allows the drum to resonate more freely and also avoids unwanted sympathetic vibrations.
