Spinning Yarns

Spinning Yarns is a collection of six four-mallet etudes for the beginning to intermediate level marimba player. Each solo is relatively short and lyrical and works as both a study piece and a performance selection. 

Each solo includes a set of “foundations” – exercises and suggestions to help the performer develop technique, musicianship, and a solid approach to learning and performing as a musician.
