The Meinl Sonic Energy SB-U-500 Singing Bowl is handcrafted in India. Each singing bowl is forged from high grade metals to provide a pure tone. Then in the hands of skilled artisans, an individual masterpiece is created displaying the quality and care put into each instrument. Finally, each singing bowl passes through quality control in Germany before being shipped.

Mallet sold separately.
To play a singing bowl strike the bowl on the outer rim with a mallet for isolated notes. You can do this while holding the bowl or sitting it on the included felt ring. To allow it to "sing”, circle the mallet and add slight pressure against the rim of the bowl continuously. The amount of pressure and duration can enhance the dynamics. You can help the bowl to "sing"by striking the rim to warm it up first.
