The Evans B14HR Hydraulic Red 14" Coated drumhead features a thin layer of oil between two layers of 7 mil. film to create unbeatable durability, and a fat, deep and short sound. The B14HR also features a Clear UV coating. Primarily a snare batter, the UV coating adds durability, and a texture that is great for brush work. The Hydraulics line is notoriously easy to tune, making them an ideal choice for problematic drums and younger players.
