Canopus CPSL-14NP 14" Vintage Snare Wire, Chrome Plated

The Canopus CPSL-14NP 14" Vintage Snare Wire, Chrome Plated reduced unwanted high pitch overtones and has a rich and mild sound. These snares have replicated the vintage snare wires of the 60 s taking several factors into account such as material, spiral diameter and pitch. We finally decided on a core thickness of 0.5 mm, a spiral diameter of 1.35mm and a pitch of 3.4 mm.
