Black Swamp SPLREC-8.5 8.5" Anvil Gong Rectangular Sound Plate

Black Swamp Sound Plates are a series of steel metallophones that will uniquely add color, texture, and creativity to any percussion set-up. The circular Disc Bells have a clear, clean, bell-like tone, while the rectangular Anvil Gongs produce a more dense, complex sonority.
 
Both shapes are available in five sizes, each with a unique tone. Sound Plates can be laid flat on a trap table, suspended, or mounted on a cymbal stand using laser-cut holes. To enhance their natural timbre and sustain, plates can also be "prepared" with a sizzle effect using the provided rivets.
 
The matte patina finish adds a final level of artistic depth and originality, making each Sound Plate as unique as the individual performing.
