The Adams Hammered Copper  Revolution timpani have the best price-quality ratio. Compared to the Polished Copper you pay a little more, but you get a tone that is more focused and direct. The Fine-Range tuner expands your possible notes beyond typical timpani, and allows your tuning to be more precise than any other balanced action pedal.  
Revolution timpani have a number of technological developments that combine professional performance and sound quality with an innovative balanced action pedal system, height adjustment system, fine-tuning system, and a removable folding base for portability.   This versatile system is the first balanced action system that allows calfskin heads to be used.
The base separates easily from the bowl without tools.   When separated from the base, the Revolution drums maintain tension and have a range of a 5th using the fine-tuning feature.   The base folds and can be easily carried using the built-in handle.   The oversized double-locking casters and permanent 3rd wheel essembly allow the drums to move with minimal effort.   Padded bags are available to protect the bowls during transportation.  
Available in 20, 23, 26, 29, and 32" sizes in Fiberglass, Smooth Copper, and Hammered Copper bowls. Smooth Copper and Hammered Copper come standard with Fine Tuners. Fiberglass timpani must be special ordered  with  Fine Tuners.   All drums include tuning gauges, drop covers, and mutes.
