The Pearl malletSTATION EM PRO 2.0 Octave EMC control module utilizes a modern 32-bit multi-processor architecture, offering a quantum leap in speed and power over EM1, resulting in increased bar precision, accuracy, and extended dynamic range. EM PRO features industry-leading KMI Smart Fabric Technology, a full-color, multi-line screen for navigation, programmable backlit touch-sensitive buttons and control sliders, both USB and 5-pin MIDI connectivity, and an optional Quad-Core ARM 64-bit 2.0GHz processor sound card enabling complete freedom from a computer tether during live performance.

• EM PRO features an all-new full-color, multi-line screen for navigation, programmable backlit touch-sensitive buttons, and control sliders, making on-stage performance changes quicker and easier than ever.
• EM PRO features Smart Fabric Technology, a Keith McMillen Instruments exclusive. Smart Fabric Technology is next level, allowing EM PRO to be highly expressive, light, and dynamic. This non-woven polyester fabric is coated with billions of carbon nanoparticles, giving it conductive properties that change as pressure is applied. Sandwiched between a tough, smooth silicone outer cover and placed on a bed of electronic traces, proprietary algorithms receive precise pressure and location data, increasing Smart Fabric Technology's night and day performance over other dated instrument sensor types.
• EM PRO can be expanded to a full 5.0 Octave mallet instrument by utilizing individual EMX 1.0 Octave Expansion units. Simply remove the built-in End Cap from the control unit, slide the aluminum beams into place, and re-attach the end cap.
