LP's Galaxy Series Fiberglass Congas are some of the most durable synthetic shell congas on the market. The inside upper half of the drum, where the most significant stress occurs, is reinforced with Kevlar fiber. Each fiberglass shell has a steel ring embedded in the bearing edge for added strength.

Galaxy Series congas are 30" tall with a wide belly and narrow bottom to help create rich, deep bass and crackling highs. Hand-selected natural rawhide heads keep the tone warm and authentic. Extended Collar Comfort Curve II rims, 3/8" Tuning Lugs, reinforced LP Heart side plates, and LP ProCare shell protectors round out the package, ensuring tuning accuracy and comfortable playing.
