Pearl PBADR10235683 10" Rope-Tuned Ashiko, Artisan Sunset Cypress

Pearl's Top Tuned ashiko is constructed using lightweight PVC, resulting in a warm, full-bodied sound. Ashiko drums originate from the Yoruba tribe of West Africa. The Ashiko is a close relative of the djembe, and their sounds complement each other when played together in ensembles.

The long tapered cylinder of the Ashiko produces lower bass tones than the djembe and rich mid-tones. The seamless, durable PVC shell features a durable rope tuning system and a 10" tucked collar synthetic head. Standing 23.5" tall, the shell features an Artisan Sunset Cypress finish and a rubber bottom edge protector.
