The Pearl 14" x 12" Finalist Snare Drums deliver a no-frills, high-quality performance at an affordable price.
The FBX birch snare drum features cast aluminum hardware, including the streamlined NanoTouch snare release that helps reduce the weight of the drum to 14.0 lbs.
The NanoTouch parallel action system allows the snares to be pulled entirely away from the bottom head for easy tuning and adjustments to the 16-strand synthetic guts.
Attached directly to the shell, the NanoTouch will always stay in perfect position over the snare beds, and the single key bolt adjustment quickly allows for the snare system's vertical release and engagement.
The "Vaulted" lightweight Edge Rings are similar in design to the standard setting Pearl FFX edge rings. The new die-cast high-tension edge ring includes strategically cut "Vaulted" voids in the interior profile to reduce weight while adding strength at each load-bearing tension post zone.
The cast aluminum hardware, including the streamlined NanoTouch snare release, helps reduce the weight of the drum to 14.0 lbs.
