Patterson Piccolo Fine Silver FS-12 12 Strand Snare Wires, 15"

The Patterson Piccolo Fine Silver 12 Strand Snare Wires feature thin cable that provide super soft articulation and clarity in the PPP to MF dynamic range. These wires are meant for 13” drums and extend past the bearing edge. The snare gate must be large enough to accept the cable clamps (1/2 x ¼ x 1 ¾”).

Patterson Snare Wires drastically reduce the annoying "slap" and "buzz" of old wire coils from 80% to 90%! Wires only produce sound where the point of the coil actually touches the head. (The empty coil space produces no sound.) That translates to only 3-4 inches of surface contact on a typical set of wires. These wires lay against the entire surface of the bottom head, providing 14 to 23 feet of continuous head coverage. That represents 80 times the head contact of wires for greater sensitivity and projection. 

Patterson Snare wires are also not mounted in cheap glue or plastic. They are guaranteed never to pull loose or break!
