Orff Source, Vol. 3

Robert A. Amchin, Daphne Price, Lori Price-Wagner, and Judy Sills combined forces to bring you this must-have collection of I, I-V and I-IV-V Orff arrangements of traditional and composed folks songs and singing games.

The purpose of this collection is to provide the classroom music teacher with a large collection of I, I-V and I-IV-V Orff arrangements of familiar folk songs and singing games as well as some original game songs. These arrangements are of songs used in Grades 5 - 6 (Middle School) of the Musicplay music program. Five selections are given that are not in the Musicplay books. Teachers with the Musicplay curriculum will find the collection invaluable when using the Orff process, however, you do not have to use the Musicplay curriculum to make excellent use of the many arrangements in this collection. Several selections have game directions, movement suggestions, activities or teaching suggestions.
