Latin Percussion Classic Series LP522X-AWC 11" Quinto, Natural w/ Chrome Hardware

LP's Classic Series congas have become the standard by which other wood congas are judged. Classic Series congas are constructed using kiln-dried, environmentally friendly Siam Oak, enhancing the drum's natural warm tone. The unique shell contour brings out the drum's mid and high ranges, and hand-selected rawhide heads provide a traditional feel with crisp articulation. An additional layer of fiberglass is added to the inside top portion of the shell for added strength and projection.

Classic Series congas feature the legendary Comfort Curve II Rims, 5/16" diameter tuning lugs, reinforced LP Heart side plates, LP ProCare integrated shell protectors, an accessory pouch, a tuning wrench, and LP Lug Lube.

Additional finishes are available. LP Classic series congas are also available as top-tuned versions.
