Jamtown's medium Den Den drum, also called a damasas or monkey drum is played by gently rolling the handle back and forth in your hands. This sets the beaters in motion and causes them to strike either side of the drum. Small seeds (spinners) inside the drum produce a soft shaker sound when played. The Jamtown medium den den features a 3" natural skin head, wooden handle, and a colorful yarn border.
