Description
"I've Got a Song in Baltimore" by Matt McCoy is a collection of folk song arrangements from North America and the British Isles. This book is a supplement to Music for Children, and the arrangements were conceived as performance pieces for children's chorus with Orff instrument accompaniment. For teachers new to Orff Schulwerk, suggestions for preparing the instrumental parts are included. Many of the accompaniment patterns are practiced through speech and/or body percussion and then transferred to instruments at a later stage. This collection may be used in conjunction with Playing Together (item 832501) and Pieces and Processes (item 824033).
