SWEEPSTAKES PERIOD:

July 15, 2025 at 12:00:01 AM CDT through October 24, 2025 at 11:59:59 PM CDT.

ELIGIBILITY:

Open to legal residents of the United States who are eighteen (18) years of age or older. Void in New York, Florida, Rhode Island, and where prohibited by law. Employees of West Music Company, its parent companies, affiliates, subsidiaries, advertising agencies, fulfillment companies, and their immediate family members (spouse, parents, children, siblings) and household members (whether related or not) are ineligible.

HOW TO ENTER:

NO PURCHASE NECESSARY. During the Sweepstakes Period, eligible participants may enter using ONE of the following methods:

Method 1 - Online Entry: Visit www.westmusic.com/symphony-of-savings and complete the official entry form with all required information.

Method 2 - Mail-In Entry: Hand-print your name, complete address, phone number, email address, and birth date on a 3"x5" card and mail to: West Music's Symphony of Savings, West Music Company, 1212 5th Street, Coralville, IA 52241. Mail-in entries must be postmarked by October 24, 2025 and received by October 31, 2025.

Method 3 - Store Visit Entry: Visit any participating West Music store location during regular business hours and scan a QR code to complete an official entry form. Participating locations: Coralville, Cedar Falls, Davenport, Dubuque, and Marion.

Method 4 - QR Code Entry: Scan an official West Music Symphony of Savings QR code and complete the mobile entry form.

Method 5 - Text Entry: Text FREE365 to 319-569-6493 and follow the instructions to complete your entry. Standard messaging rates apply.

ENTRY LIMITS:

One (1) entry per person for the entire Sweepstakes Period, regardless of entry method used. Multiple entries from the same person will not be counted.

PRIZES AND APPROXIMATE RETAIL VALUES (ARV):

GRAND PRIZES (3 Winners): One (1) year of instrument rental credit valued up to Nine Hundred Sixty Dollars ($960) contingent on instrument rented. Rental credit includes student-grade instrument, protective case, basic maintenance, and damage protection for up to twelve (12) consecutive months.

SECONDARY PRIZES (10 Winners): One (1) West Music gift card valued at Fifty Dollars ($50) each (ARV: $50 each). Gift cards are redeemable at any West Music location.

WINNER SELECTION:

Random drawing will be conducted on or about October 30, 2025, from all eligible entries received during the Sweepstakes Period. Drawing will be conducted by West Music Company or its designated agent. Odds of winning depend on the total number of eligible entries received.

WINNER NOTIFICATION:

Potential winners will be notified by email and/or telephone within five (5) business days of the drawing. Winners must respond within seventy-two (72) hours of initial notification attempt or an alternate winner may be selected. If a potential winner cannot be reached after three (3) attempts over five (5) business days, an alternate winner will be selected.

PRIZE CONDITIONS:

General Prize Terms:

• Prizes have no cash surrender value and are non-transferable

• No prize substitution by winners allowed

• Sponsor reserves the right to substitute prizes of equal or greater value

• Prizes cannot be resold, auctioned, or transferred to third parties

Rental Credit Terms (Grand Prizes):

• Credit must be applied toward a new or existing West Music rental agreement

• Credit covers up to twelve (12) consecutive months of standard monthly rental fees & service protection plan

• Valid for any instrument in West Music's standard rental inventory

• Credit must be claimed and activated by December 31, 2025

• Once activated, rental period begins immediately and cannot be paused or extended

• Winners who have existing rental agreements or purchased their instrument will receive a credit applied to their account

• Remaining credit after account closure will be forfeited

Gift Card Terms (Secondary Prizes):

• No expiration date when issued

• Cannot be redeemed for cash except where required by law

• Lost or stolen gift cards will not be replaced

• Gift cards will be issued as physical gift cards

Tax Responsibility:

• Winners are solely responsible for all federal, state, and local taxes

• Winners will receive IRS Form 1099-MISC for prizes valued at $600 or more

• Prizes will be reported as income at their full ARV

• West Music will not gross up prizes for tax obligations

WINNER VERIFICATION:

Potential winners must complete and return the following documents within ten (10) days of notification or forfeit their prize:

• Affidavit of Eligibility confirming compliance with Official Rules

• Liability Release releasing West Music from claims related to prize acceptance/use

• Publicity Release consenting to use of name and likeness for promotional purposes

• W-9 tax form for tax reporting purposes

Potential winners must also provide valid government-issued photo identification for verification.

DISCLAIMERS AND LIMITATIONS:

By entering, participants:

• Agree to be bound by these Official Rules and Sponsor's decisions (which are final and binding)

• Release and hold harmless West Music Company from any and all liability related to this sweepstakes

• Consent to the use of their name, likeness, voice, and biographical information for promotional purposes without additional compensation (except where prohibited)

• Acknowledge that optional marketing activities are separate from sweepstakes participation

SPONSOR LIABILITY LIMITATIONS:

West Music Company is NOT responsible for:

• Lost, late, misdirected, damaged, incomplete, illegible, or postage-due entries

• Technical failures of any kind including website, email, or telephone malfunctions

• Unauthorized human intervention in the sweepstakes process

• Printing, typographical, or other errors in these Official Rules or promotional materials

• Any services, advice, or materials provided outside of the official prizes listed

• Any issues related to optional marketing activities

DATA COLLECTION AND PRIVACY:

When registering, you will receive reminder text messages from West Music regarding West Music’s rental program that you can opt-out at any time by texting STOP.  Participant data handling is subject to West Music's Privacy Policy available at westmusic.com.

GENERAL CONDITIONS:

West Music Company reserves the right to:

• Modify, suspend, or terminate this sweepstakes if fraud, technical difficulties, or other factors beyond Sponsor's reasonable control compromise the integrity or proper functioning of the sweepstakes

• Disqualify any participant who violates these Official Rules or acts in an unsportsmanlike or disruptive manner

• Substitute prizes of equal or greater value if advertised prizes become unavailable

• Require proof of identity and eligibility from any participant

DISPUTES:

Except where prohibited, all disputes arising out of or connected with this sweepstakes shall be resolved through binding arbitration conducted under the Commercial Arbitration Rules of the American Arbitration Association. The arbitration shall take place in Johnson County, Iowa.

PUBLICITY:

By accepting a prize, winners consent to West Music's use of their name, photograph, likeness, voice, biographical information, and statements for promotional purposes in any media without additional compensation, except where prohibited by law.

For a list of winners, send a self-addressed stamped envelope postmarked by December 1, 2025 to: Symphony of Savings Winners List, West Music Company, 1212 5th Street, Coralville, IA 52241. Winner list will be available after November 15, 2025.
