Summer 2025 Schedule
Experience Early Childhood Music and Movement widiv your baby in our Sing, Play, Grow! environment. Our delightful theme will include singing, chanting, cuddling, rocking, dancing, instrument exploration, and more! Baby-safe instruments add to music play at home! CDs will include some of our in-class songs and lots of others to explore as you make music at home.

Based on activities created by Melissa Blum in her World Music Drumming Curriculum, “Drumming Up the Fun!”. Activities include creating sound stories to illustrate children’s books with musical instruments, exploring modified World Music Drumming ensembles, songs, and movement, rhythmic play, singing, dancing and more! Reinforces important preschool concepts such as turn taking, sharing, following guidelines, respecting personal space, and more. Child attend the first 35 minutes alone, caregivers join in for the last 10 minutes.

1. What age children can participate in Sing, Play, Learn Today!?
This program is designed for children ages 3 months to 5 years, with activities tailored to different developmental stages. Whether your child is a crawling baby or a curious preschooler, they’ll benefit from playful music exploration.
2. Do I need to have any musical experience to attend with my child?
Not at all! These classes are designed for families of all backgrounds—no musical skills required. Your presence and participation are what matter most, and you’ll probably find yourself having fun right alongside your child.
3. What happens if we miss a class due to illness or scheduling conflicts?
We know that life happens! If your child has to miss a class, reach out to your local West Music store team. Each semester, we offer make-up sessions for up to one student absence. Our team is also happy to share ideas to help keep your child engaged at home until the next session.
4. What kinds of instruments and materials are included? Can we keep them?
Each class includes access to age-appropriate instruments and props—like shakers, scarves, drums, and rhythm sticks. Many items are used during class, and each student also receives a small material pack with instruments and books. Some programs offer take-home kits or seasonal bundles to further extend the experience at home.
5. How do I register, and is there a cost to join?
