The Encore Adam Tan ATGRADR Graduated Set Rattan Marimba Mallet are a great starting point for a warm, yet clear graduated set with slight weight, that can be used for all kinds of solo repertoire and on all sizes and materials of marimba.

Featuring (from left to right); the AT4 (Medium Soft), two AT3s (Medium) and one AT2 (Medium Hard). This setup allows to have versatile bass, mid, and high range mallet coverage in addition to being able to use the two AT3s for two mallet solo and ensemble playing when needed.

The AT Grad Set is easily expandable to several other combinations. With an addition of 1pair of mallets you open several new combinations.

Encore’s Adam Tan Series is a medium weight mallet series designed for concert solo performances, bringing out the warmth and fundamentals of your marimba sound. The AT Series is comfortable in the hands and plays easily, ideal for all levels and styles of marimba performance. The mallets feature a latex-wrapped, thick, rubber disk core covered in all-natural North American Alpaca wool. The series is also slightly two-toned and extremely versatile in all applications.
