The aluminum bars come separately in the shipping box; plastic holders are included to attach the chime bars to the stand.

The bars are not specifically tuned - they are meant to create a random, wind chime effect.

Play the chime tree by "strumming" along the chimes with your fingers or with a triangle striker (not included). These aluminum bars create a higher, more tinkling sound than brass bars. The chime tree is one of the most popular sound effects used in the elementary music classroom.

It truly adds a bit of "magic" to any musical setting.

The aluminum bars range in length from approximately 1-3/4" to 6-1/2"; the oak holder is approximately 10-1/4" tall, with the base being 12" wide x 4-1/4" deep. This model does not come with the bars attached. We recommend placing the bars in a shoebox lid or similar tray to determine size order and then attach each bar with the included plastic loops.
