This package includes the Alphabet Action Songs book and the PowerPoint and SMART notebook file CD.The book features songs that will have you moving to the beat while you learn the letters of the alphabet. For each letter, a phonics song (featuring a familiar melody) and an action song are given. The phonics songs for consonants each have the same melody so that they are easily learned; the accompaniment changes to reflect the character represented by each letter. The phonics songs for long vowel sounds use one melody, with a different melody for short vowel sounds. The action songs use a variety of melodies and musical styles, to give children a wide range of musical experiences.

The 2 included CD's feature vocal performances for you to learn the songs and accompaniment (karaoke) tracks for the action songs so you can perform them. The melody line and lyrics are included for each letter's action song (phonics songs have lyrics only).The Alphabet Action Songs PowerPoints and SMART Notebook Files chart all of the phonics songs and action songs in the Alphabet Action Songs collection for beginning readers to track and read as they sing.
