The structurally welded resonators are individually designed to enhance the fundamental tone and provide maximum volume, sustain, and control. A quick turn of the Voyager handle procides effortless height adjustment on the most flexible and transportable frame system available today. New Adams Honduran Rosewood   

After many years of research, Adams Instruments presents new Artist, concert and Soloist series rosewood bars. While nothing visually has changed, the sound and ease of playing from these bars has been drastically improved. Eight years ago, Adams began to purchase a higher quality rosewood than was previously ever available. Mr. AndrT Adams and Mr. Frans Swinkels visited the Honduran forests several times to select the best possible wood for the production of their marimba bars. Adams' policy is to keep wood in special climate-controlled rooms for 8 years to insure precise aging. We have heard instruments from this wood and the result is quite honestly phenomenal! A much faster, clearer tone and pitch. Exactly what all marimba players want.
