Gon Bops is proud to present Pete Engelhart custom percussion instruments. Highly regarded as one of the most innovative percussion makers in recent times, Pete Engelhart has made a name for himself among drumming's elite. Made one at a time in his Berkeley, California shop, each Gon Bops bell is handcrafted by Pete himself and stamped with his signature.
Each percussion instrument is hand welded and left raw, with only a clear coat to protect the metal's surface. The triple Gon Bops Bell are then pitch-tuned by Pete Englehart's discerning ear. More like sonic works of art, Engelhart bells only grow sweeter with age. No two bells are alike, and each one is painted red on the inside, Pete's signature color.
All of Pete's Gon Bops bells are fitted with the patented Gon Bops V-Clamp mounting system, which provides strength and versatility.
