The Percussion Source tuned Thai gongs are bronze gongs from the far east, meticulously hand adjusted to western chromatic tuning with a=442Hz standard.
HIGH octave is c'' - c''' ( starting one octave above middle - c' )
Due to the size of the smallest gongs, the highest 2-3 gongs in this octave may be shaped differently and lathed to create the desired pitch, as shown in this picture. The sound and pitch created by these gongs is similar to nipple (Thai) gongs.
