The Revolution timpani have a number of technological developments that combine professional performance and sound quality with an innovative balanced action pedal system, height adjustment system, fine-tuning system, and a removable folding base for portability. This versatile system is the first balanced action system that allows calfskin heads to be used.
The base separates easily from the bowl without tools. When separated from the base, the Revolution drums maintain tension and have a range of a 5th using the fine-tuning feature. The base folds and can be easily carried using the built-in handle. The oversized double-locking casters and permanent 3rd wheel essembly allow the drums to move with minimal effort. Padded bags are available to protect the bowls during transportation.
Available in 20, 23, 26, 29, and 32" sizes in Fiberglass, Smooth Copper, and Hammered Copper bowls, and are available with or without fine tuners. All drums include tuning gauges, drop covers, and mutes.

Portability without compromise

I was looking for a 32" drum that would fit through doors and in my minivan, along with 3 existing Ludwig Professional timpani. The Revolution fit right in. I was able to adjust the height to match the others and even the color matches! It sounds good, too.
