How many Pairs of Mallets (not drumsticks!) does the mallet bag hold approx?

The stick bag included with the vicpack does accommodate drumsticks better than mallets due to its narrow width. Depending on the size of the mallet heads, 3-4 prs of mallets will fit comfortably, any more and you may run into trouble closing the zipper properly.

What size practice pad can this backpack hold?

A 12" pad fits no problem (Vic Firth, Real Feel, etc.) Total width is 13.5"....so large pads can be a bit snug.
