Beauitful Cover, Weird Pad

The cover itself is beautiful. The padding on the bottom does a good job at protecting the head. I wasn't a fan of the pad. I don't like the feel of it. Its considerably unrealistic to the feel of a drum, but is really quiet. I've thought about buying of those VicFirth Drum Pad laminates to give the pad a better feel.
