Dynamicx snare drums provide the snare drum connoisseur with the ultimate drumset snare drum experience. Innovative design concepts, combined with premium materials, allow for a truly personal, heirloom quality instrument.
Tybrid snare drums take a titanium nucleus and flank it with exotic veneered maple. The wood edges are precisely machined and fit to the titanium center to create a unified shell without the need for sound deadening fasteners.
The Dynamicx Tybird™ is mixology in sound. Take two disparate sounds - titanium and wood - mix them up, and you end up creating a new sound. The Tybrid sound takes the lively projection of titanium and fills in the edges with the blending characteristics of wood.
As with all Dynamicx drums, the Tybrid boasts an exceptional tuning range and dynamic response.
7x14 Tybrid: High Tuning
7x14 Tybrid: Low Tuning
Tybrid models can be made with the following wood veneers (Please indicate veneer selection in order comments:)
- Figured Anigre
- Birdseye Maple
- Zebrawood
- Sapele Pommele
Triple flanged 2.3 mm hoops listed.
Numerous custom options are available for an extra charge. These include: but are not limited to:
◦Single Flange Hoops and Claws
◦Die-Cast Rims
◦Segmented Wood Hoops (available in a variety of materials)
