Suited for the professional, student or hobbyist, this specially designed pad simulates the response of a timpani head without all the sound. Perfect for backstage warm-ups, apartment or hotel room practicing or for use in full sets for full timpani console simulation. This versatile pad can be mounted securely on an 8mm practice pad or cymbal stand, cradles easily in most snare drum stand baskets and also has non-marking rubber feet for table top use. Additionally, notches in the face frame prevent your mallets from rolling off, giving you a place to set your mallets down and stretch or take a break! Beautifully crafted oak frame is designed for durability and performance.

The material that makes up the TPP pad is proprietary. It is not a gum rubber, that is more the material that is used on regular snare practice pads.
