The MAY Contour Hinge Carriers offer the best sizing, flexibility and ergonomic design. By using hinge technology, these carriers become one with the player and remain secure and durable enough to be used through the daily rigors of marching field drills.

Say Goodbye to J-Rods!

These carriers incorporate freedom of movement, allowing elaborate maneuvers that are essential to any contemporary band performance. In addition, with their mounting posts and drop and lock features, consistent with Stadium Hardware, MAY Monoposto and Biposto Carriers provide stability and easy adjustment on the fly. They also deliver a limitless range of playing positions for all drummers, regardless of their height or drum size.

Articulating Back Support™

The articulating back support (ABS) promotes spinal alignment and disperses the weight of the drum more evenly reducing player fatigue. The articulating design provides a customized fit so the player has complete control of the drum during complex body movement. The unique design allows free movement of the shoulder blades and scapula.

Monoposto/Biposto Bridge

Transfers all the sheer and torque load only to the tubes, away from the abdomen plate, improving rigidity and stability to the instrument-creating a more reliable playing environment. By using new hinge technology, this carrier becomes one with the player and remains secure and durable enough to be used through the daily rigors of contemporary marching movement.

Folding Carrier

All MAY Monoposto and Biposto carriers can be folded to about half their original size for easy transport and protection.

Shoulder Rotation

Adjustments can be made to the camber (left and right), Caster (back to front).
