The Pearl Championship PBDM-1814/AXN-46 18” Marching Bass Drum features the Midnight Black wrap finish and includes the Pearl CXB-1 bass drum carrier.

The Championship Maple Bass drums were designed with the same formula used to design the FFX snare drum and Championship tenors. 6 plies of 100% Maple shells offer maximum resonance and huge sub-frequency projection. To complement the Maple shells. 2" wide 6 ply Maple Hoops are secured by extra wide claws for an evenly dispersed pressure for consistent tuning. Lightweight one-piece high strength aluminum castings and 6mm case-hardened tension bolts provide uncompromising strength and durability for years of high performance use.

The CXB-1 Airframe Carrier features a solid rod, form-fitting upper shoulder frame attached to a thin aluminum belly plate with extreme range of motion. The ACS (Agility Control System) Belt unites the player to their instrument for optimal stability in today’s modern use of body movement. The shoulder and belly pads are removable for cleaning and are built with a "Stealth" design. These carriers practically disappear under the uniform.
