..."For those concerned with working their quality of sound and right to left balance, check out the INVADER by OffWorld Percussion. This is easily the most articulate sounding pad I‘ve ever played... allows you to hear very clearly at even the lowest dynamic. It also has a great look... not too big, not too small, and even a Rim to boot!"... Murray Gusseck Santa Clara Vanguard, Tap Space Publications

Alexander G: What's great about this practice pad, is the fact it's as close to the real thing as a pad can get, while still being a practice pad. A lot of other pads for one don't include a rim, which is very essential in marching, rim shots, rim clicks galore. Another thing to really distinguish it, the Invader really gives such superb rebound it's unheard of, even at any dynamic. Finally, this thing really separates each hit, diddle, buzz, to such a clear, articulate sound that you just don't get with any other pad. Jun 18, 2012

Heidi P: This practice pad is like none other. It has a rim to help decrease "pad hands". It is a double sided pad with one side a little softer than the other. The Invader feels more like a marching snare drum than any other pad. Most other pads are made is gum rubber while this one is not, giving it a unique feel and sound. I highly recommend it to anyone going to play a marching snare drum. Jun 18, 2012

Adam BStaff: The Invader V3 pad is designed to be the closest resemblance and feel of a high tension marching snare drum. The pad is unique it it's resemblance to these drum heads and unlike most practice pads, the Invader V3 has a rim all around it so you can also rim shot. Jun 6, 2012

E E: It has a rim and prevents pad hands. It also really feels like your playing on and actual rudimental drum. Jun 23, 2012
