The Ching Chok is a cricket-like double wood block played by shaking the instrument back and forth. The LP Ching Chok is a perfect sound effect for dramatic productions, dance beats, and film soundtracks. Each end carries a pair of hard, wooden balls that are supported by spring steel and strike against the rosewood sound chamber. Shake it back and forth to create a high-pitched, percussive rattle.
