How do you handle backorders and out of stock items?

Try as we might to keep items in stock and available for you, from time to time backorders do occur. Due to the unique nature of some of our instruments, often times we need to "special order" them for you. Please allow extra time for these items to arrive.

When will my order arrive?

We try to ship all in-stock merchandise within 1-2 business days of receiving your order. Depending on your choice of shipping, product availability, peak times, your location, weather and other factors, delivery time will vary. Generally, you can use the following as a guideline:

Regular Ground: 7-10 business days
2 Day: 2-3 business days
Next Day: 1-2 business days

Will I be charged sales tax?

Residents of the following states will be charged sales tax in accordance with local tax laws: Nebraska, North Carolina, South Dakota, Texas and Wisconsin. Taxes will not apply in all other states.

How do you handle international orders?

International orders must be paid in full prior to shipment. Due to certain manufacturing restrictions, not all products will be available for shipment to all locales. Some international orders will require prepayment via Wire Transfer. If your order requires a wire transfer payment, you will be contacted by a representative via email before your order is processed. Wire transfers have a fee of $35.00.

UPS, Fed-Ex or BAX Global will be used for international shipments (including Hawaii, Alaska and Puerto Rico). Shipping charges are determined on a per order basis. You will be contacted by a representative before your order is processed with a notification of the shipping charges. In addition to normal shipping charges customers are responsible for any duties or taxes individual governments may assess. Please contact us for an exact total before sending payment.

What if I want to return an item?

If you are not satisfied with your purchase you may return the items within 30 days for exchange or credit (less shipping costs). Damaged, Incorrect or Missing Items
We are proud of the products we sell and have complete confidence in their workmanship and durability. Should you receive a damaged item, we want to replace the item as quickly as possible. Please call us at 1-866-849-4387 or email us at service@percussionsource.com (pictures are always helpful) to arrange for pickup at our expense. We will then take appropriate action to file a UPS claim or a warranty replacement if applies. Our goal is to get a replacement to you as soon as possible.

Occasionally, mistakes happen. If you are missing an item, or if you were shipped the wrong item, we apologize for any inconvenience this may cause and want to fix the problem as quickly as possible. Duplicate Shipments
If you receive a duplicate shipment because of an error on our part, we will promptly pick it up at our expense and credit the entire invoice amount.

Unfortunately, due to the large volume of orders we receive, we are not able to "flag" orders that are sent to us more than once. If you fax, mail, email, phone in, or place an internet order more than once, it may be duplicated. In this instance, you may return the shipment for credit, excluding shipping, at your expense.

If you are sending us an order confirmation, please be absolutely certain that you have clearly indicated this. Otherwise, the order will likely be duplicated and may be returned at your expense.
