This Monday we will check out Bill Bachman’s Quad Logic.  This book covers all aspects of playing marching tenors and is a useful tool for all level of players. Bachman breaks down the proper techniques used and provides insight on how to approach certain musical passages. This book has become a great resource for marching programs around the country and really helps solidify a strong foundation. Vic Firth has posted several video lessons to go along with this book that can be seen through the link below. If you are just starting out, have several years of experience, or a band director looking to help their tenor line, this book proves to be a great resource for all!
